This aubergine shade is even richer in person, and the subtle linen texture adds just enough depth without overwhelming a quilt block. It presses beautifully and holds a crease well, which made piecing a breeze. I’ve already ordered another yard for a coordinating project.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this fabric holds a crease for precise piecing. The aubergine color is rich and true to the swatch.

The subtle woven texture gives this fabric a more refined look than standard quilting cottons, and it presses beautifully for piecing without stretching out of shape. I'm using it for a skirt and love how the tonal depth adds quiet interest while still looking like a solid from a few feet away.
