The quilt-as-you-go method finally clicked for me after following along with the video—Gudrun’s pacing is spot-on for beginners. The finished 33" x 40" size is perfect for a crib, and the PDF pattern downloads instantly so I could start cutting right away.

I’m a visual learner, so having both the PDF pattern and the video class side-by-side was perfect—I could pause and rewind Gudrun’s steps whenever I got stuck. The quilt-as-you-go method felt way less intimidating than I expected, and the finished 33" x 40" size is just right for a crib.

The video class was great for walking through the quilt-as-you-go method step-by-step, and the pattern is clear and easy to follow. I just wish the written instructions had a few more diagrams for the trickier seams, but overall I'm very happy with my finished quilt.
