Seedling Dove SDL 20101

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this cotton held its shape after pre-washing—no fraying or shrinking at all. The dove pattern has a lovely muted tone that works beautifully for a quilt backing.

The print is absolutely gorgeous—those soft dove tones pop beautifully against the crisp white cotton. I've already cut into it for a quilt backing and the hand feel is lovely, not too stiff at all.

The fabric feels soft and lightweight, perfect for a summer quilt. My only tiny gripe is that the cut isn't continuous for larger projects, but the print is exactly what I was hoping for.
