Seedling Flax SDL20112

I used this for a summer blouse and the 1-yard cut was just enough for the pattern. The fabric held its shape nicely after prewashing and didn’t wrinkle as much as I expected.

This cotton has a lovely drape for garment sewing, and the flax pattern is subtle enough to work in a quilt or a shirt. I ordered a yard and the cut was clean and true.

The weave on this flax print has a nice, slightly textured feel that makes it look more like linen than plain cotton. I ordered a yard for a quilt backing and the color depth is exactly what I hoped for, though I do wish the cut came in continuous lengths for larger projects.
