This flannel backing is the perfect width for my king quilt – no piecing needed. The brushed surface is so soft to the touch, and that mottled auburn tone gives it a gentle, calming vibe instead of a busy pattern.

I backed my queen quilt with this in the auburn colorway and the mottled tone gives it such nice depth without competing with my piecing. The 108 inch width meant almost no piecing on the back, which saved me a ton of time.

The brushed flannel feels so soft against my hands, and the auburn mottling has this gentle depth that doesn't fight the piecing. Two yards covered the back of my lap quilt with a bit left over.
