Strip To Shore Pattern 161

The hexagon ruler makes cutting those 2-1/2" strips a breeze, and the lap size came together in just a weekend. I'm already planning another one in the queen size for my bed.

I was pleasantly surprised how easily the pattern worked up with the 8-1/2" 60 degree ruler, and the four size options make it perfect for any project. The step-by-step instructions for the strip piecing were clear enough even for someone like me who is still learning quilting.

The hexagon ruler made the strip piecing go together way smoother than I expected, and the four size options meant I could start with a crib quilt before committing to a queen. My strips lined up perfectly once I got the 60-degree angle down, and the finished top looked just like the photo.
