Tree Time Place Mats Pattern 191

The quilt-as-you-go method is such a time-saver, and the 10" x 9" panel cutting guide takes all the guesswork out of sizing. I had my place mats finished in one afternoon, and the pattern was clear enough that even my second one looked neat.

The 10" by 9" cutting guide for the panel is spot on, so I didn't waste any fabric measuring twice. The quilt-as-you-go steps are laid out clearly enough that even my first attempt finished with tidy seams and no puckering.

The quilt-as-you-go method was surprisingly easy to follow, and I love how the 10x9 inch panel size came together neatly. My first place mat turned out perfectly flat and the instructions made the whole process feel quick.
