I've been using this deep blue quilting cotton for a lap blanket and the subtle texture really makes the color pop without being overpowering. The fabric handled my machine beautifully and didn't fray too much during cutting.

The tone-on-tone texture gives it just enough depth without being busy, which is perfect for a quilt backing. It pressed flat with no stubborn creases, and the deep blue really anchors the whole project.

The deep blue is so rich it almost looks black until the light hits those subtle speckles, and it’s got that soft quilting-cotton feel right out of the bolt. I’ve already cut into it for a scrappy lap quilt and the tone-on-tone effect keeps it interesting without fighting the other prints.
