I love how the quilt-as-you-go technique makes the large bag come together fast, and the 16-inch finished size is perfect for my beach trips. The pattern instructions for the smaller bag were clear enough that I felt confident trying it in a weekend.

I was a little intimidated by the idea of quilting a bag, but the two sizes in this pattern made it easy to start with the smaller one and build confidence. The finished 12" x 13" x 6" tote is perfect for a market trip, and the step-by-step instructions had me done in a single weekend.

The quilt-as-you-go method made this bag pattern come together surprisingly fast, and I love how the large size easily holds everything I need for a day at the beach.
