Floral Elements Scarlet 514

I was a bit worried about buying fabric online, but the depth of the scarlet red in this cotton is gorgeous and exactly what I needed for a modern quilt. It sewed up smoothly without fraying, and the yard came folded neatly. Will definitely order more from this line.

The floral pattern is crisp and well-defined against the vibrant scarlet, and the 100% cotton feels nice and sturdy for quilting. I've already used a quarter yard for a test block, and it handled the iron and needle perfectly.

The scarlet background is exactly as vivid as the online swatch showed, and the cotton has a nice, smooth hand that pressed like a dream for my quilt top. Even with a single yard, the floral repeat is small enough that I could fussy-cut the main blossoms without wasting any fabric.
