Nitty Gritty Coal A1434K

The 100% cotton weave has just the right weight for quilting, and the color reads as a true charcoal without any blue cast. It presses beautifully flat, which is exactly what I wanted for my current project.

I used this for a quilt backing and the cotton has a nice tight weave with almost no fraying when I cut it. Just know it ships in one-yard cuts, so order enough the first time.

The charcoal color is a deep, true black-grey that doesn't look washed out in person, which is exactly what I wanted for a quilt backing. It pressed flat with barely any shrinkage, and the 1-yard cut gave me plenty for my project.
