I used this gray fabric as a neutral background for a baby quilt, and the subtle texture added just enough interest without being busy. It pressed beautifully and held its shape through piecing.

This mottled gray is perfect for adding subtle depth to a quilt top without overpowering bolder prints. I used it as a neutral background and the tone-on-tone effect gives the whole piece a cohesive, finished look.

The gray mottling reads as a soft, weathered solid from across the room, but up close it gives my quilt top just enough texture to keep it interesting. Cuts square and holds a crease beautifully, so piecing was a breeze. I've already ordered more for the backing.
