Three yards in one continuous piece means I can lay out my pattern without piecing, and the obsidian print has this subtle sheen that photographs beautifully. It's a solid cotton with a nice hand, exactly what I needed for drapery panels.

Bought this for a quilt backing and the three yard cut came in one continuous piece, no seams to work around. The obsidian print is deep and rich in person, way better than the listing photo suggested.

The 3 yard continuous cut saved me from piecing together backing for a throw quilt, which was the main reason I ordered it. Cotton has a nice tight weave and the dark print hides seams well, though it shrank a bit more than I expected after the first wash.
