Glaze Ash A830-C1

This cotton has such a smooth, even weave that my needle glides through it without any puckering. The subtle glaze finish gives it a soft hand feel that presses beautifully for clean seams.

I've been quilting with this for a few days and the hand is lovely—soft but not flimsy, perfect for piecing. The muted grey tone goes with just about everything in my stash, and one yard was enough for a small project. Only wish it came in continuous cuts for larger backings.

The color is a perfect muted grey-blue, and the 100% cotton has a nice, crisp hand that should hold up well for quilting. I’m glad I grabbed a full yard since the cut is exact, though I’ll need to order more if I want a longer backing.
