Using 5" fabric squares made this project surprisingly quick to cut, and the full-color instructions were clear enough for a beginner like me. I love how the finished runner adds a pop of pattern to my dining table without being too busy.

The color diagrams made piecing this runner feel almost mindless—I had it done in one afternoon with the Stripology ruler and charm squares. The instructions even cover how to use regular fabric if you want to swap things up. Definitely going to try another pattern from this series.

The Stripology Squared Mini Ruler trick really does simplify those 5" squares, the instructions made it a breeze to keep everything aligned. I just wish the pattern offered a couple more size variations for different table lengths.
