GEasy Trivet Runner - Quilt As You Go

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the quilt-as-you-go pattern keeps the runner flat and sturdy on the table. The insulating batting definitely protected my table from a hot casserole dish without any warping.

The insulating batting layer really works—I set a hot casserole dish right on the runner and there was zero damage to the table underneath. The quilt-as-you-go method made this third Advent project come together faster than I expected.

I’ve already made two of these runners, and the insulating batting really works — I set a hot casserole dish right on it with zero worry. The instructions are easy to follow once you get past the first step. It’s a fun, quick sew that feels sturdy and useful.
