Nellie 10" Square Pattern 173

I was a bit intimidated by the Stripology ruler technique at first, but the way this pattern breaks down the cutting steps made it incredibly straightforward. The finished quilt has such a dynamic look from those simple 10-inch squares.

The cutting instructions for the 10" squares were surprisingly straightforward, even with regular rulers instead of the fancy ones. The final pattern came together cleanly with no wonky seams, and the background fabric choice really makes the squares pop.

The pattern instructions made the 10" square piecing so straightforward that I finished the quilt top in a weekend, and the cutting directions with the Stripology ruler were spot on. I’m already planning a second one in different colors.
