Glaze Stormcloud A830-C

The stormcloud gray is way moodier in person than I expected, with darker streaks running through it. I cut a full yard for a quilt backing and it pressed flat without any fraying at the edges.

The cotton has a nice tight weave that hardly frayed when I pre-washed it, which matters since I'm cutting it into quarter-square triangles. The grey reads slightly blue in daylight, so it pairs well with the cream solids already in my stash.

The cotton has that soft, slightly brushed feel I look for in quilting fabric, and the stormcloud gray shifts nicely depending on the light. Cut a full yard for a baby quilt and it pressed flat without any shrinkage surprises.
