The green is exactly the muted, slightly gritty tone I was hoping for, and the fabric has a nice, substantial hand. It’s a true tone-on-tone that reads as subtle texture from a distance, which works great for quilting. Just remember the yard cuts are separate pieces, not continuous, so plan your lay

The Moda cotton has a nice, even weave that pressed up beautifully for my quilt blocks. The shade is a deep, muted olive that works well for a military-inspired project. I'll be ordering more for the backing.

The color depth on this green is exactly what I hoped for—rich without being flat, and the cotton feels sturdy enough for quilting. It cut cleanly with my rotary blade, and the tone-on-tone texture gives it a nice vintage vibe once stitched up.
