I needed a basic green that wasn't flat, and this gives just enough linen-like texture to make a quilt block feel more interesting. It handled the prewash without fraying badly and pressed smoothly for piecing.

The texture is what sold me—up close you get that woven linen look, but from across the room it just reads as a calm, solid moss. I used it for a quilt backing and it pressed out flat without any fuss.
