I was looking for something soft and unobtrusive for the background in my quilt, and this pale ice blue with those layered leaf outlines is just perfect. It blends in without disappearing, exactly what I needed. The tone-on-tone effect is lovely and subtle.

This layered leaf print is so subtle and calming; the tone-on-tone effect makes it feel like a soft watercolor. I’m using it as a background for a quilt top, and it doesn’t compete with the main fabric at all. The pale ice blue is exactly what I was hoping for.

The ice blue tone is even prettier in person and really opens up a room without being loud. I've been using it as a background for a wall hanging and the subtle leaf pattern adds just enough texture without distracting.
