Cutting through eight layers of cotton felt like butter—no shifting or fraying at all. The blue handles are easy to spot in my sewing basket, too.

I’ve cut through eight stacked layers of quilting cotton in one pass and the edges stayed clean, no fraying or shifting. The serrated blade grips the fabric so well that even slippery satin didn’t slide around. Best scissors I’ve owned for precision work.

I’ve been using these scissors for a few weeks and the micro serrated blade really does keep fabric from slipping, making cuts much more accurate. Cutting through eight layers of cotton was surprisingly easy, and the frayed edges are much less of a problem now.
