I bought this for a quilt backing and was pleased that each half-yard was cut cleanly and straight. The variety of textures among the six black fabrics gives the project subtle depth.

The deep, true blacks in this bundle are perfect for adding contrast without clashing. I've already used two of the half-yard cuts for quilt sashing and they blend beautifully. The variety keeps my project from looking flat.

Six half-yard cuts means I can finally stop hoarding random black scraps and actually start a cohesive quilt project. The fabrics are all properly true-to-black with no weird brown undertones, which is rare for a mystery bundle.
