I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the handles are—they don’t dig into my shoulder even when the bag is fully loaded. The 5-inch depth is perfect for sliding in my rulers and mat without everything feeling cramped.

The 18.5 x 22.5 opening swallows my cutting mat flat with room to spare, and the 5-inch depth keeps rulers from sliding around on the way to class. Handles are long enough to slip over my shoulder even with the bag fully loaded, which is exactly what I needed.

I was a bit skeptical about the depth, but the 5-inch bottom easily holds my cutting mat and all my rulers without anything poking out. The handles are sturdy enough to carry the full load from my car to my sewing room.
