The video class format was perfect for learning the quilt-as-you-go method—I paused and replayed sections until the technique clicked. My runner came together in just a few evenings, and the finished size is exactly what I needed for my dining table.

I was a bit intimidated by quilt-as-you-go before, but the video class broke it down perfectly, and I finished the 16½×38-inch runner in one weekend. The instructions for joining the sections are so clear—my seams actually matched up.

Watching Gudrun guide the quilt-as-you-go steps on video made the whole process feel doable, and the finished runner at 16-1/2 by 38 inches fits my table perfectly. I paused and replayed the tricky binding part a few times, but the pacing was clear enough that I never felt lost.
